Hearing Aid Healthcare was started by Howard Hait who has been practicing since 1962 where he started in Lexington, Kentucky. He then relocated to Northern California in 1973. In July of 1997 Palm Desert saw the first Hearing Aid Healthcare location and the start of the largest hearing aid chain in the Coachella Valley, the installation also became the first and only Food and Drug Administration registered hearing aid manufacturing facility to custom build and repair hearing aids in the Coachella Valley. It didn’t take long before they had grew beyond their capabilities so on September of 1997 the Borrego Springs and Yucca Valley locations were added to broaden the reach of their customers. In January of 2001 Palm Springs and in June of 2004 Indio came into the picture to again reach in between current locations to better service the growing number of clients. Our newest installation was added in March 2006 located in Sun City to complete our network of the Coachella Valley. All of the Hearing Aid Healthcare installations are currently owned and operated by Howard and his wife Jeannette.

All of our specialists are state licensed, Board certified or Audioprothologist and maintain their professional education. In addition our specialists are Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist.
